Special Bulletin
The first Preview page for Issue # 4 has been posted. Ratkeeper will
have several more to post over the next couple of weeks.

We were  provided these pages just before Comic Con. http://boards.nbc.com/universalHD/index.php?showtopic=4903

Hello Fellow Rangers,

Sam Wells, DDP publisher posted this in the Forum Section of the Jericho page today: http://jerichocomic.squarespace.com/ (posted below).

We have heard your cries fellow Rangers, and we would like to take this
opportunity to confirm that the series Jericho: Season 3 – Civil War is in fact… NOT canceled. We understand that the extreme wait between issues is worse than a season-ending cliffhanger, but we want you all to know that it is still currently being worked on and will soon be in the hands of all of you that have stuck with Jericho. We know the fans and the show (& book) have been through a lot and as most of you know, Devil’s Due has also undergone some changes since we first put out issues 1 – 3 of the series. Most notably our split from the comic distribution company, Diamond Comics. So while we may not have definitive dates and we can’t say too much at this point, we are working closely with CBS and you will most likely be hearing something from them very soon. Thanks for your patience and continued support. -Sam W.

It appears that DDP is continuing to help work with CBS to get the comic out sooner rather than later. We have been told by Dan and now Sam at DDP that CBS is now working directly on getting the comic issues # 4-6 completed and out the door. This comes on the heels of a post on the Board on August 16th that said the comic may be coming out in early September. We believe that the  announcement we have been waiting for from CBS is finally coming our way. http://jerichocomic.squarespace.com/forum/post/1205743

ISSUE 4# RELEASE DATES Word on the grape vine is issue 4 is coming to our shelves in September, with exact dates not released but could be 7/8th. i will keep all posted on developments. Redsox19861

Nice write up on “The Glades” with Clayne Crawford (Mitchell Cafferty)

The South Florida-based crime procedural doesn’t break any new ground, but it’s intriguingly off-kilter and a good bit of fun. And series star Matt Passmore makes for an interesting lead. He’s the smoothie that would result from stuffing “Dexter’s” Michael C. Hall, “The Mentalist’s” Simon Baker and “The Hurt Locker’s” Jeremy Renner into a blender.

Michael Gaston (Gray Anderson) appears on AMC “Rubicon”

It was nice to see Michael Gaston (who is, to me, a mix of J.K. Simmons and David Koechner) appear as the elusive Donald Bloom, though I couldn’t help but think of his role on Fringe every time I saw him, possibly because he was a high-ranking government agent in both roles. He was solid in the role, though, which probably explains why he’s twice had such a role.

Shoshannah Stern (Bonnie Richmond) gets into a “Twitter Fight” with Tim
Roth

A funny thing happened when Fancast’s red-carpet Q&A with ‘Lie To Me‘ star Tim Roth went live on Tuesday: New cast member Shoshannah Sterngot wind of something “crazy” that her TV boss said, and promptly busted his chops on Twitter.
Stern responded on Twitter, “So, according to @TimRothLietoMe, I have a crazy sense of humor. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!”
The actress, who happens to be deaf, then tweeted along a transcript of Roth’s comments. “You mean [I'm] crazy like a fox, right?” she teased her costar.
Roth’s response to Stern’s good-natured ribbing: “you are crazy as a loon.”

“It’s a very different venue for this show but a fascinating one,” he explained. “There’s a lot [involving] the entertainment industry in this town to pull stories from. [It's got] everything from the biggest sea-port in America, to the beaches, to very diverse ethnicities and races. There’s a lot to do here, so we will never run dry on stories.”
